But what about crochet gift giving?

12 Awesome Gift Ideas for the Crocheter
1. Yarn!
Of course, the very first thing that all crocheters want is more yarn! I know, you’re rolling your eyes right now. But the truth is, you can never have enough yarn! Even if it’s taking over your house, you will ALWAYS want more yarn.
And while all yarn is welcome and loved, the best gift would be some super soft, very high-quality yarn like these delicious skeins right here. Bulky yarn is on-trend right now, and I don’t see that going away any time soon. So a 3 pack of this gorgeous alpaca bulky yarn blend is just the ticket.

The ones I personally love the most are, in my opinion, the best out there. The Clover Armour Ergonomic hooks are simply amazing. Smooth, and soft to the touch they are easy to hold and work with for hours. The best part is that my hands don’t cramp as badly when I’m using these bad boys.

Sometimes when you’re working on a difficult project, or with a yarn color that’s hard to see, (black!) it’s hard to keep track of the stitches you’re making. Having something brightly colored attached to your project in just the right place can be so helpful.
These stitch markers are the ones I personally use, and they are so dang handy! They just look like really large safety pins, (which is really what they are) and they’re plastic and brightly colored. Easy to find in your project.
4. Crochet Hook & Suppes Organization Case
Look, we crocheters are the artsy creative types. And sometimes that process doesn’t afford us much organization or attention to detail. That’s why we’re constantly misplacing hooks, scissors, stitch markers (The kids?) you name it!

5. Craft Store Gift Cards
These are always a sure-fire hit. If you’re unsure of what of these items to grab, you can never go wrong with a gift card to their favorite craft store. (Michaels anyone?)
6. Crochet Books/Magazies
There are so many great crochet books and magazines out there these days. It’s really a great idea to give to your crocheter. The books I love are the stitch guides (you can never learn enough new stitches!) and the pattern books.
This amazing book by fellow hooker and blogger Sarah Zimmerman at Repeat Crafter Me crochet is one of my favorites. She has so many cute patterns, and corner to corner is one of my all-time favorite ways to make a blanket!

8. Yarn Ball Winder
Everyone uses their yarn differently when creating a project. Some pull from the skein, while others like to roll it into a ball. Or maybe you’re trying to wind the last of a skein of yarn into a ball so you don’t get the dreaded “yarn barf”.
A yarn ball winder simplifies your process of gathering up those yarn strands and saves you so much time. Knit Picks Yarn Ball Winder is by far the most popular and reliable model of winder on the market. I highly recommend this for some crocheting gift ideas!

This sheep yarn bowl cracks me up, and the wooden one is simply beautiful!
10. Crochet Project oebook
If your crocheter is anything like me, they have at least five projects going at once, and about fourteen more being planned. (Or in various stages of planning) Like all of these patterns in my pattern roundup! And if you’re a designer, you’ll need a place to write down and sketch out your designs.
Being able to keep all of that info straight can sometimes be very overwhelming. That’s why this crochet project notebook is so handy! Perfect crocheting gift ideas for anyone!

And finally, after all the stress we put our hands through as crocheters, our hands can get cramped and stiff. These awesome compression gloves help relieve tension and increase circulation. I own approximately three pair and I wear them every night.
